2019 Mare Nectaris
In Stock
"Mare Nectaris" is the name of a lunar ocean/crater. It is Latin meaning "sea of nectar." Thousands of years ago, wine was referred to as "the nectar of the gods." It was believed that fine wines were worthy of being served to deities. The Hartenberger family still believes in this notion. We expect you will find this bottle of Mare Nectaris worthy of being served to your most honored guests...or gods.

Tasting Notes
The color is reminiscent of rosewood. The nose is classic of a bordeaux wine with aromas
of violet, smoke, leather, black fruit, and earth. The mouthfeel is rich and full, featuring
complex flavors of ripe plum, spice, clove and black cherry all seamlessly integrated. With
a heavenly finish that fades into the next sip.
